Om Classes

Our drop-in yoga classes are offered by certified teachers who are experts in their field. Your Om Pass memberships allows you to take part and explore the different styles of classes offered daily at Om West. Here is a sample of our most popular weekly drop-in yoga classes:

  • Ashtanga Yoga: A fast-paced, intense style of yoga. Ashtanga is also the inspiration for what is often called Power Yoga.

  • Hatha Yoga: While all styles of yoga asanas are considered to be Hatha yoga, classes labelled as Hatha Yoga generally refer to classical yoga, and tend to offer yoga in its classical form.

  • Jivamukti Yoga: A flowing sequence of asanas with ancient yoga texts, music, chanting, meditation and social activism.

  • Kripalu Yoga: A form of Hatha Yoga using inner focus, meditation, standard yoga poses, breathwork, "development of a quiet mind", and relaxation.

  • Restorative Yoga: Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and revitalizing practice that encourages rest and resets the body, mind and spirit.

  • Sivananda Yoga: A Sivananda class promotes yoga: asanas, pranayama, relaxation, diet and positive thinking and includes 12 basic asanas performed in a slow, meditative style.

  • Sri Sri Yoga: Sri Sri Yoga is a celebration of the diversity in Yoga including traditional hatha yoga, breathing techniques, meditation and yogic wisdom all presented in a joyful yet profound manner.

  • Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa, which means breath-synchronized movement, tends to be a more vigorous style based on the performance of a series of poses called Sun Salutations, in which movement is matched to the breath.

  • Meditation: Deep relaxation, Peace, Calmness, Freshness

  • Pilates: Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps to not only build flexibility, but also strength, endurance, and coordination in the legs, abdominals, arms and back.

Om Courses

Om Courses are weekly specialized 10-week courses offered by registration (though we also accept drop-ins). They are conceived for you and your family to stay healthy while having fun.

Om Courses are free to Om Monthly Plus members.

Kids Yoga: 
Class adapted for kids. 
We have a special reduced price for siblings who attend together and for parents who wish to attend along with their kids.

Prenatal Yoga: 
Class adapted for pregnancy.

Gentle Chair Yoga: 
Class adapted for seniors or for people with limited mobility. 
Take note that our studio is on the second floor and is only accessible through our staircase.

Tai Chi: 
An internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits.

Budokon: 
Budokon is a unique yogic, martial & living art.

Qigong: 
Qigong is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation.
