Massage therapy is exempt from the curfew

We have received confirmation from the Fédération québécoise des massothérapeutes (FQM) that clients will be able to go to their appointments for professional health services (massage therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy, etc.) and return, even after the curfew. The same is true for therapists who travel to work.
FQM:
All massage therapists can continue their professional activities.
Details concerning the curfew
As confirmed by the government decree, clients will be able to go to and from the massage therapist, even after the curfew.
Proof of travel after 8 p.m.
For massage therapy clients, your appointment confirmation, your receipt or your proof of payment are all acceptable supporting documents.

All health care and professional services clinics, including massage therapists, chiropractors, optometrists and dentists, will remain open. People will be able to get there and back, even after the curfew.

Nothing is changing for professional health services. Travel after curfew is permitted, and providers of this type of health service may travel to provide it.
