8-Week Initiation Course
Learn Pranayama breathing techniques and traditional meditation techniques (mindfulness meditation, chakra meditation, Vedantic meditation, etc.) to access higher levels of consciousness (Samadhi). The practical and theoretical aspects of meditation will be taught by Antoine or Pamela, the studio owners who have been studying and practicing meditation on a daily basis for 25 years. This course also includes an initiation to the Padma Sadhnana practice.
A traditional yoga practice integrating asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork) and dhyana (meditation).
This sequence developed by spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar takes yoga to a whole other level. The sequence begins with a specific set of traditional yoga postures that are held for 4 to 6 breaths. It is then followed by Nadi Shodana, a breathing technique that balances the hemispheres of the brain, and then by a 20 minute practice of meditation. The class is practiced with eyes closed in a meditative atmosphere. Padma Sadhana is not a physically demanding practice but it is perhaps the most advanced form of yoga in the sense that it requires students to control their breath, quiet their minds and keep a meditative silence throughout the class.
Practice breathing techniques that stabilize the mind and energize both the physical and astral bodies.
An ancient chant which reprograms our cellular memory, removes impression from our subconscious mind and takes us into deep states of meditation and healing.
Meditate as we perform this powerful ancient ritual which invokes the ascended masters of the yoga tradition and serves as a portal to a subtler dimension.
Enjoy some soothing time in the studio as you meditate to the sound of the universal mantra Om.
